Liljan Weihe is a Faroese politician and journalist. Currently serving as a Member of Parliament for the Republican Party since 2022, she brings a wealth of experience from both the media and political arenas.​

Before entering politics, Liljan held the position of Head of News at Faroese Broadcasting from 2012 to 2017, where she played a pivotal role in shaping the national news narrative. She later worked as a journalist and consultant, and from 2019 to 2021, served as a political advisor for the Unionist Party. From 2019 to 2013 she led Visit Tórshavn as Director, promoting the capital's cultural and tourism initiatives.​

Liljan holds a Cand.scient.soc degree and is a trained journalist. Her multifaceted career reflects a commitment to communication, civic engagement, and the development of Faroese society.​
