As a Senior Software Engineer at Flowcore, Jóhann Østerø helps build a secure, cloud-native AI data-processing platform that "brings AI to your data" without exposing sensitive information. Additionally, he runs GameJam Føroyar with an amazing team, a non-profit that has hosted nine game jams since 2021 to ignite Faroese creativity and pave the way for local careers in game development.

Over the past decade, Jóhann has shipped titles at Gaman Games and driven R&D software projects at Føroya Tele. He has also taught IT and software development at the University of the Faroe Islands for four years. A passionate full-stack programmer and aspiring high-end game creator, Jóhann holds a BSc in Computer Games Programming (2017) and an MA in Games Development (2019).
